Melting point: 308°C. Decompounded into sodium nitrite and oxygen when heated to 380°C.
Sodium nitrate soluble in water, methyl alcohol, extremely easily dissolves in ammonia, micro-dissolve in glycerin. It absorbs large amount of heat while dissolving in water. It is an oxidant. It will cause combustion or explosion when it is put together with organism, sulfured.
